Marco Cella was born in Milan, Italy, in 1979. After graduating with a degree in international politics, Marco started his career in photography. He was an assistant for many years, which included working alongside many major international fashion photographers such as Michel Comte, Mikael Jansson, Mario Testino, Peter Lindbergh, and Phil Poynter. These early experiences greatly inspired Cella, and he eventually began to work in both Fashion- and Fine Art photography.
Marco has worked for numerous magazines including L’Officiel, Vanity Fair, GQ, New York Times, Mojeh, The Times, Maxim, Grazia, and Io Donna, and has had his work published by several big publishing houses, including Rcs, Feltrinelli, Mondadori (for clients like Louis Vuitton), and Hublot. Marco has collaborated with brands such as Tod’s, Versace, Bulgari, Lacoste, Kartell, Hublot, Vertu, Fiat, Colmar, ToryBurch.
Marco Cella’s Fine Art Photography has been exhibited in Milan in 2008 in a group exhibition with Patrick Demarchelier and Marco Glaviano, and in 2013 (in a group exhibition). In addition, Cella was featured in the 2009 Paris Art Fair, and in St Barts in 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014. His Photography has become part of many private collections worldwide.
